marley & me; good times and good wine.

OK so... let me just begin by saying.. why in the hell would anybody want to see a movie that ultimately ends in a dog being put down? GOD. I suffered throughout the last part of that movie. All I could think about was the time I had to do the same thing for JoJo. I sobbed along with the rest of the people in the theater like a HUGE SUCKA. Tricia and I would look at one another mid-sobs and start cracking up at the sheer hilarity of the situation. We were sobbing. All together. In a public movie theater.

Sigh.

So yeah. I went to visit my bestie today because Troy was snowboarding all day in NY. We went to lunch at covered bridge (salad and pizza - yum!) and then we went to the sweet ass movie theater that serves wine and beer to see marley and me. After that we went back to their place to play games and drink wine. We ate cheese and pepperoni and raw veggies and dip and drank some wine from one of the local winerys. And we played Uno. And fought off the puppy (roscoe). He poked a hole in my shirt! Little demon dog. He's lucky he's so cute.

It was a fun time. Eventually Troy came home and I stayed for awhile, but I left not too long after.

I talked to Bobby on my way home and that made the drive go by a little faster. Tricia and Troys place is only about a 40 minute drive from me, but at night it can be long.

It's 12:30 and I just got off the phone and now I'm going to curl up in bed because I work 9 hours tomorrow.

Thursday - apartment viewing with my mom! I'm very excited, but I'm also nervous and a little scared. It's overwhelming, but in a good way. Oh and before that on Monday I get to see Bobby again. So I obviously cannot wait until monday. Two excruciatingly long shifts at work to go before then.

I'm terrified of the unknowns, because things happen (all of the what-if's... let's just hope I stay healthy and that everything goes as planned). That's why I kind of wanna wait until April to move in so I can save a grand or so to cover my ass, but I know if I view it on thursday and LOVE it I'm gonna want to move in sooner rather than later.

And B made a good point, I can always move in once school starts... the sooner in the semester, the better. Either that or I wait till spring break. Or my original departure, April. But, if I can wait till April, I can wait another month (not even a whole month) until May when school is over.

It's really not all that far away. And it would give me time to build a safety net. But we'll see.
